The short version: budeto.xyz has no forms, no accounts and no ads. It measures which pages people read, and if you write to us, we keep the conversation. We do not sell personal data.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is BUDETO STUDIO s.r.o., Zahrebska 562/41, 120 00 Prague, Czechia, IC 19265662. For anything about privacy, write to hello@budeto.xyz.
What we collect when you visit
- Analytics. Google Analytics and PostHog record which pages you open, the site that sent you here, what you click, and technical details such as your browser, device and approximate location derived from your IP address. Both use cookies or similar browser storage so that repeat visits can be counted. We do not identify visitors by name in either tool.
- Server logs. Our web host keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, the page requested and your browser) to run the site and keep it secure.
- Fonts. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which see your IP address.
What we collect when you write to us
If you email us, to apply, to invest or for any other reason, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply, and if you apply, to decide together whether we build a company. It is not added to any mailing list.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Analytics and server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure site and knowing which pages are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Your emails: steps you ask us to take before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Who else processes it
Google (Google Analytics and Google Fonts), PostHog (analytics, hosted in the EU), our web host in the Czech Republic and our email provider process data on our behalf. Google may process data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for as long as the conversation is relevant to working together, and deleted when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them. Analytics data is kept for as long as it is useful for comparing how the site is used over time. Server logs are kept for the short period set by our web host.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or hand it over in a portable format. Write to hello@budeto.xyz. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
